Stunning guitar virtuosity, sensational showmanship, and a sweeping dramatic crossover of rock with flamenco, Latin, and cinematic music are hallmarks of Roland Grant’s style, thrilling and entertaining live audiences with a stellar supporting band. Recent highlights include opening for Multi-Platinum selling rock guitar star Orianthi at the iconic Whisky a Go Go in Hollywood, and at capacity theater and festival appearances. Now based in Los Angeles, Roland previously opened for Kiefer Sutherland and performed at a 10,500 seat ScotiaBank Centre concert event in Halifax, Canada near his hometown.
Roland’s studio releases to date are his debut album Equilibrium (2018) and his purely classical Piano Quintet (2021). As an orchestral composer, Roland’s Concerto for Guitar and Orchestra premiered in 2019 with the composer as soloist. Roland was awarded the prize for Best Tonal Music at the 2017 International Antonín Dvořák Composition Competition held in Prague, Czech Republic, of which he is a two-time finalist.
